Medaram, home to the sacred Sammakka Saralamma temple, is well connected by road and is easily accessible via the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC). During the biennial Jathara, TSRTC operates hundreds of special buses from Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam and other major towns to ensure smooth transport for the crores of devotees who visit Medaram.

Regular TSRTC bus services operate throughout the year from the Warangal and Hyderabad (MGBS & Jubilee Bus Station) bus stands to Tadwai and Medaram. During the Jathara period, TSRTC additionally operates non-stop special buses, RTC helpline counters, and dedicated parking and drop points near Medaram to manage the heavy footfall of devotees.

Devotees can also reach Medaram by train up to Warangal Railway Station, the nearest major railhead, and then continue the remaining 104 Km journey by TSRTC bus, taxi or private vehicle. The nearest airport is Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, approximately 300 Km from Medaram.
